All too well, live a couple of miles away. When I moved to the area many years ago the local side I watched a few times was Baldock town, and a little later the hitchin owner/manager bought up the Baldock ground on Norton Road when they'd fallen on hard times. But rather than let them use the ground under some new arrangement he turned it into an AstroTurf hitchin reserves ground. So that plus the canary thing seals the deal. Their own ground is OK for the level they are tbf. Sometimes pop down for Luton pre season game there which can be lively. |  | | |
