Good interview from McKenna 17:55 - Oct 29 with 3055 views | thebooks | No-one thrown under any buses, obviously disappointed, good analysis – said we didn’t control the emotional situation, acknowledged problem with balls being fired into the Town box recently. Even said ref had a good game. Guess that sort of game is a new experience for him. All useful.

Good interview from McKenna on 18:05 - Oct 29 with 2820 views | boroughblue | Try and put the emotions to one side (which I am finding extremely difficult don't get me wrong), try and just see it as a freak game. Yes the pattern of giving away two goal leads is extremely concerning, and I fully agree with that. Especially as thats now 4 points dropped from 2-0 winning positions, which could be massive come the end of the season. But.. October has been a very good month overall, with some very positive results and only 4 points dropped (apologies if memory serves me wrong). 2 weeks worth of training, and what should essentially be a routine, training game standard win for us, to polish up on things before we go again in a much quieter November. Don't get me wrong, this hurts like hell, and I really don't know what to do with myself this evening! But we'll be alright I think. Really do trust KMc.

Yes, I agree. We’re doing a lot of good stuff – the basics are spot on, and we’re technically and tactically very good. Perhaps game management and decision-making throughout the team need improving? There are times I think we’re a bit inflexible, and the subs are a bit odd sometimes. It is good to hear straightforward, honest answers to Brennar’s questions.

Good interview from McKenna on 18:22 - Oct 29 with 2504 views | norfsufblue | I was expecting a bit of the old lots of things to learn from guff BUT tbf he articulated very well what I hoped I would hear....... basically we got caught up in the emotion of the moment, btw Ball should/could have made much more of his obvious injury to break up the game flow and our keeper could have been struck down with cramp!

Worth remembering that he's in his first full season as a football manager at the age of only 36. He's not got to nail all the calls 100% of the time, but he'll do more than enough to get us promoted and progressing this season.

I enjoyed him putting Brenner in his place when be tried to draw him into having a moan about Morsy being penalised.

I agree. Hence not 'endlessly impressive' and understandably so.

Good interview from McKenna on 19:15 - Oct 29 with 1983 views | NthQldITFC | I invariably find myself agreeing with virtually everything he says. No unnecessary histrionics either way. It certainly was a bit of a freak occurrence, nothing to get too worked up about. I think we lost our heads after our fourth and with a very tired and cramping Ball and with the fresh 10s full of chasing down energy, we didn't have any control of the midfield, right across the pitch. We should have sat as a 4-5-1 for those last few minutes, rather than trying to press them. Having said all that it was still a freak that they somehow managed to get on the end of two chances. Two weeks off to study that well and learn from it. As said above, trust the process, and for fks sake let's not all get our knickers in a twist about one freak result with a bit of poor game management.

I don't think I have seen him ever show a lack of respect for any player. It is strange any manager ever should, but he is a model professional in the way he speaks to the media.

Who has been desperate ‘to say otherwise’? Putting perspective on todays game doesn’t take away the defensive disappointment of the last two games, Sheffield W and Portsmouth come to that. People are not blind and I haven’t seen anyone say they are happy with what’s happened..

Churchman forget just about today. Its been very obvious that despite a run of cleansheets again certain levels of opponents, When we come under pressure we completely collapse. The excuse has been its league 1 and these are league 1 players... but something had to change and if its not coaching then it has to be players.

Until the last two games blew a hole in it, our defensive record was one of the best in the division. Why on the basis of that would you change the players at the back? If so, for who? You might in Fantasy Football but not in the real world. We are ok personnel wise. Game management and how we deal situations in game need work - obviously. Given we are the division’s top goal scorers, there’s not much to do in my view to make us run away with this division. We just have to trust McKenna and what the club is doing. I look at the comments on Owlstalk and they look a ragbag as a club compared to the togetherness we have. Plymouth? On a great run, outstanding. But I still think we have more about us.
Good interview from McKenna on 22:01 - Oct 29 with 1659 views | BlueForYou | We are entering the winter where perhaps it’s not the sensible thing to mess about with ball along the defensive line. There have been frailties in our defence which have mostly gone unnoticed. We might get away with it & gain promotion, but if we do, & obviously we all hope we do, then we will need to strengthen the defence considerably before next season.

I think his interview was good. No toys being thrown around, no raging at the ref or situations etc. Just rationalising what he saw. He made the key point that in a week (8 days) we have taken 7 points from Derby at home, Port Vale and Charlton away. Yes, it’s a real wasted opportunity today, but 7 from 9 is not to be sniffed at looking at those fixtures and most sane people would have settled for that before the Derby game. By comparison SW drew at Lincoln, home to Bristol R and beat Burton at home. They are more cheerful than us tonight yet are 2 points worse off after 8 days. Strange old game.
