Yeah, they’ve done ok since. He obviously struggled with the pressure of being at a MASSIVE club! His over-reliance on signing L1 players seemed to give him little chance here. Shame he was given the keys to the castle and let loose. That was when we needed a decent structure in place - no thanks to Evans. | |

He had a very good season at Pompey in League One, the whole Hirst pursuit seems to be based on that form and performances.
Blackburn deemed him good enough for the Championship… but for some reason haven’t liked what they’ve seen in training, which I agree is concerning.
