Think a few need to lay down in a quiet place. Regardless to what happens this season as long as we don't fall out of the top six there's been a major improvement. The new guys need time to bed in properly and whether it's bad luck or simply picking the wrong players we have been unlucky with quite a few injuries especially the key midfield area and obviously things need tightening up at the back. We know we can score goals it just that the defence has been wobbly for sometime. If we don't get promoted we go again and next season will be where we leave the pack behind. |  | | |

Agreed that we really could have done with the three points. But after that first half the performance in the second was soooo much better. And it’s the manager who should take the credit for the tactical changes he made.
We changed things up and for most of the 2nd half had the better of the best team in the league. That’s says a lot. Let’s be patient with a young manager, give him give him time and see where we go. If we don’t go up this season it will be disappointing, but the incremental improvement in style and league position over last year is so vast that we have to be confident that next season we’ll be better placed. If we’re not then big, big questions will rightly be asked and probably the manager will be replaced. | |

The vast majority could clearly see the direction things were going, though. That said, they have gone at a pace I doubt any of us truly expected. If you had told me we could get to 95 points and possibly not go up, I wouldn't have believed you. If you had said we could get to 100 points and finish second, I wouldn't have believed you. | |

I mean while I did hesitate before doing so, I do think if you’re going to post nonsense which isn’t even backed up by anything other than a “choo choo” you accept that someone will bring it back in the future. It’s a good reminder to those individuals who were thinking this way that if in future we have a rough patch (which we will) that there are other important barometers by which to measure the club and the team than just the league position and recent results.
I will say tho that I didn’t go looking for this. I don’t post much and I selected the ‘my posts’ tab on the forum and this was near the top; so of course it caught my attention. Anyway, like I said in my post, just hope everyone is enjoying the ride now; certainly no time for negativity! | |
