If it's good news, why tweet in advance to reassure everyone that everything's okay...?

I assume it's probably not as big as administration. Some sort of embargo, or a winding-up order?

Yes, assume it’s about a tricky fixture against HMRC

They have until the end of this month to file their accounts for 2021/22 season.

They had previously said they were going to raise money in the Jan transfer window. I am not aware that they got a fee for anyone, so finances could be worse than imagined?

Perhaps we called their bluff on Taylor?

Okay, I take back my comments on McAnthony's tweet.

Assuming that the club has a lease of an appropriate length, and haven't been given an easy ride by LRPP Ltd, then there should be no impact on the day to day life of the club.

Although, having said that, the details at Companies House make for interesting reading. Especially when it comes to ownership of LRPP Ltd:

So Darragh is a part owner of the stadium company. What’s the meaning of those numerous charges against the company? Mrs Macanthony is named there.

The administrators will have a duty as part of their remit and that duty almost certainly involves PUFC continuing where they are.

Implications possibly elsewhere, but can't see any issues for the club thankfully.

That's what I was just wondering. There seem to be an awful lot of loans(?) secured against the stadium, some being owed to some very odd company names, and some being owed to both Mr & Mrs MacAnthony - Dma Holdings S.A is registered to the same address as Mrs MacAnthony provides as a witness for one of the other charges.

I'm not for one second suggesting any impropriety, but it seems a bit odd to the untrained eye.

It sounds like they are just calling their lenders bluff to try and get more favourable terms on their loans

When money was cheap a lot of companies simply rolled over loans rather that settling debt but do that now and the interest rate is likely several 100% higher.

Unless there's been some sort of schism at boardroom level?

Otherwise why would anyone lend one of their companies (Company A) money out of another of their companies (Company B), refuse to pay it back, and then have Company B seek to declare Company A insolvent.

Again, no allegations of impropriety, but it seems very odd to the untrained eye.

I believe DM has said before that his two co-owners (25% each) have fallen out with each other, and one wants to step back from the football side of things.

It appears from that statement that no payments have been made on various loans for almost a year.

With hindsight they would have been better off if they had accepted one of our offers. Perhaps we can get them on a reduced offer in the summer, if of course they are still a target.

That statement comes from the guy who owns 25% of the shares in Peterborough United which, as someone has said, suggests a bust up in the boardroom.

Remember Darragh is a property developer at heart.

A glance across the pond to the USA should show the warning signs for Peterborough with all his companies over there. Hint, they aren’t very successful…
