Yellow away shirt? 20:43 - Jun 3 with 5580 views | Coastalblue | How would people feel about it if we ended up with a yellow away shirt again? Not suggesting we might by any stretch, but I'd quite like a yellow shirt/blue shorts combo for a season or two.

I was there that day, I seem to remember the north bank singing get back to Tottenham to Willie Young after a very poor performance.

I was at the game too. Sitting in the lower part of the main stand. We ripped them a new one that day. We went to Arsenal, West Ham and Spurs away most seasons at that time. Mariner used to take poor old Willie Young to the cleaners just about every time we played them. [Post edited 5 Jun 2023 7:07]

Forest have had white away kits (Derby) Newcastle red (Sunderland) Arsenal white (Spurs) Man Utd blue (City) Southampton blue (Pompey) Swindon yellow (Oxford) Watford white (Luton) |
Manc City Red (Utd) | |

Yellow away shirt? on 21:34 - Jun 3 by hoppy | Isn’t that top one just based on the seats of the open top bus they had for celebrating winning the second half of a game or something? |
It does look like that doesn't it. The best thing I can say about it is that it doesn't appear to have any old manky chewing gum stuck to it, although that splodge above the left breast might be? Was that a genuine shirt? The splodge/badge and sponsor name are clearly superimposed (very badly) post image. One wonders why! Don't remember them ever 'playing' in it, but as you say I can remember going up to sixth form sitting on it and messing about with one or two lasses on it.

as usual, Mick Mills' posture was perfect in that photo. School children should be shown pictures of Mick Mills so as an exampe of perfect poise.

Surely you grew up with black or white kits like so many others on here?

Norwich have an entire stand decorated Blue and White with ‘Home Improvements’ emblazoned across it. If they wished to extend the improvements perhaps the seats will be next?
