I mean. If you were a young lad who had a kit bought for you, would you rather it was by a local hero who loves the club which you'll no doubt have fond memories of for years to come? Or a local gobsh1te who tries to get his face in front of every camera going to promote his p1ss poor podcast?
It's taken the shine away from what would no doubt have been a special moment for that kid. And anyone who knows what "Cruncher"  is about knows that this is nothing to do with Jackson at all. Shameful stuff really... |

Just been on Twitter and came across what was essentially a begging thread, with people clearly trying their luck with sob stories off the back of Cruncher’s ‘generosity’…both in the original tweet and replies from various accounts…and it worked for the original tweeter as a few people offered to buy one for them. |  | | |

From what I can see the original "message" put out by his Dad was about his son lacking the confidence to go and play football due to behavioral and educational issues.
It was an issue around his "personality" rather than a financial problem (I can see that his sister has a new kit too, which I assume they bought themselves)
It now appears that there is a whip round to buy him some training kit too.
Surely there are better ways to help the kid? |

There have already been about 157 threads about Cruncher on this forum. We have a 158th now. Why? Because some obsessively follow him on Twitter and any time the bloke does something distinctive, good or bad then it is immediately followed by 4-5 pagers on here about him. This thread does well to reach the usual standard. And time and time again some comments from 'regulars' in the Cruncher threads. And there will be plenty more to come in the future and the same ones will be repeating the same things over and over.
And some comments on here like 'pr1ck' , 'whore' or others........those comments must come from the decent human beings, eh? Full of personal decency aren't they? [Post edited 3 Jul 2023 21:12]

Some people get just as triggered in his defence! We’re lucky that we generally have a decent fan base. Things can’t be bad if Cruncher’s one of the main topics on a slow news day! He’s harmless and does some good stuff but if you put yourself out there like he does then people will mention it. I doubt he cares. It’s not like he’s shy of a few insults himself. I remember a time when Colin had him on speaker phone on one of the away coaches and he was ‘talking’ about one of the coach stewards lol! 🙈 | | | |
