His average since Stokes took the captaincy has been very good, but every now and then he comes in and looks nervy, like he's not sure how to approach it. Stokes has been the same a lot of the time, his last two knocks aside. Need Root to just settle down a bit and play his natural game. This is a wicket where runs will come without having to massively force it. | |

It's so frustrating from Crawley. Played some nice shots, scored at a good rate, but he just can't help nicking off from shots he doesn't need to be playing. At some point he has to start converting nice looking 30s and 40s into match winning knocks. | |
