Someone recently told me about bamboo clothing/underwear. Apparently, its good for humid environments. I am off to Thailand and Cambodia in November where it will no doubt be hot and sticky in the jungles. Is it worth buying some bamboo stuff? | |

Yes it is actually, and dries pretty quickly too. Cotton often the worst thing in that kind of environment because it stays damp for so long.
Not sure what your plans are, but be aware that doing laundry is tough in those environments for the same reason, it just never bloody dries in the humidity. |  |

We are doing a tour with G Adventures. Different activities each day over 3 weeks, things like jungle trekking, river kayaking and stuff. Some nights in hotels/dorms but other nights sleeping in camps. I am pretty much resigned to being damp most of the time! | |
