Do you know if there is any interest in Phoenix Patterson at Fleetwood? To me he seems like the sort of low cost, high potential player that we could be keen on. His numbers last year weren't anything special but feel he could be a good understudy to Broadhead.
I noticed that McKenna made a point of speaking to him at the end of the final game. Could just have been a catch up as he came up through the Spurs academy at the same time McKenna was there. |  |

Strikes me as very unlikely that a team goes out and spends money like they are but also plans to rely on a player who has never scored a Championship goal as a significant part of their squad, |  |

I hope we don't leave this all too late and then have nothing to fall back on. I have my doubts about this one. I have a few mates who are Palace fans, all who seem to think he is going to be around the first team.

I think the question is whether Hirst is happy to sit on the bench, that is what it may come down to.
For me, he has to have a full season in the Championship this season as a starter. He is no longer a spring chicken, if he does not do it this season when will he?
If he does well enough in the Championship, he will quickly be snapped up by a Premier League club. But a season on the bench for Leicester will do him no good imo
