The pitch updates will be put together in a nice video ONCE complete

Club used the pitch work as a way to get the first game away, due to multiple stadium upgrades, but ONLY the pitch reason gets serious consideration from the league. If they send out updates showing they are well ahead of schedule the league could have said no to our request.

Have that on pretty almost defo info

But I want to know everything Texters, and I demand to know it, NOW!

Supporters are different. What you find important doesn't have to be the same as what other people feel are important. I'd also sub important for interesting. I'm not interested in it, but other clubs have done what Frimley suggests and the club would likely make money doing it, through ad revenue on youtube or similar.

Talking about it, in the measured way they have, is not a problem. I don't see why you need to belittle their interests.

My issue isn’t really about the grass, it’s more that if the club wants to operate in this way - mainly in silence - then what’s the issue with that?

They’ll update supporters on matters as and when they see fit. As others have mentioned, there’s a reason why pitch info hasn’t been released. Once they’re in a position to do so, then they will. That may be in August, that may be in December, but does it ultimately matter?

Like ticket and membership info, they clearly feel they’ve got time to release this.

Just give the club a break I say, clearly, Ashton and co are embarking on upgrading the whole club, literally from top to bottom, and that all takes time.

As for frims comment on ‘the clubs media have been p!ss poor this summer’ my word.
For the first several weeks of the summer they were on a well deserved break and are allowed holidays like the rest of us.

Calm down children, patience is a virtue.

The behaviour of some of our fans close / pre-season has been embarrassing.

It’s a culture of I want it and I want it now with no consideration for anything else.
No patience in anything anymore.

We have a club that is now well run and with people behind the scenes who actually know what they are doing and have the experience . Have a bit of faith and trust and when there is something to communicate they will. There is so much going on and so much changing with being in a new league probably there are too many decision makers far to busy to update the media team or they are still fine tuning things and only want to convey things when decisions have been made.

It’s the effing summer, chill out and come back in a couple of weeks.

No.

I’d rather see the team sing a song than watch the grass grow.

Maybe you could start a poll?

Spot on. The impatience always fails to take into account that the football season is nine-and-a-bit months long with few breaks. Our club is getting the sort of refresh and investment it has badly needed for decades and everyone - including the staff - deserve a break.

We've had the kits launched, McKenna has signed a new deal along with Chaplin, Luongo and Aluko and we've signed Taylor. When did our fans get so greedy and spoilt?

'When did our fans get so greedy and spoilt?'

2 years ago when Cook signed 18 players. They now expect it to be like that every transfer window.

Crikey Sitters!

That innocent comment (echoing mine from a few days ago) opened an unseen can of worms.

I wonder if the pitch has worms....?

I want an update on the Portman Road worms. Come on Ashton.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

It's symptom of society generally - 24/7 news cycles and having access to so much information that people have grown to think/expect it's their right to be party to everything.

I think you're right and that bothers me. How quickly people forget the transfer windows where we left everything to the last minute and signed duds like Leon Best.

We've pretty much landed every transfer target we had since Gamechanger came in.

I know we're fighting a wider culture, and in that sense it's probably futile to push back against it, but it's so disheartening to see the whingeing after the season we've just had, and the overall trajectory the club is on.

Oi Frimmers! There not singing 'Jungle songs', they are singing a song from Jungle book. I was hoping to see Burns or Chaplin giving it a go at Original Nutter or at least a bit of Congo Natty. I can barely control my disappointment
