Injuries - Walton, Clarke, Broadhead and Luongo 15:32 - Aug 1 with 6859 viewsTalkingBlues

Clarke and Walton more serious than the other 2, who could be involved whilst carrying niggles.

What a start to the season!! Highlights how important it was for the recruitment team to be firing on all cyclinders, not a good look at all.

"as I heard"

I absolutely detest this bullish*t 'ITK' bullocks we get on here in an effort to sound connected.
There are very very few I would trust on this board with info, and you aren't one.

Yeah, funny how it turned out to be accurate though isn’t it? Just a lucky guess I suppose?

Lol

No it didn't!!! If I was feeling generous I might concede you for it half right, but in fairness we already knew about Walton.

I didn’t pick 4 names out of a hat to mention, these are names I was given by someone I know at the club when I asked about injuries. Even the club didn’t know the extent at that stage, but enough was known for my mate to declare that 2 were thought more serious initially.

A bit unrealistic to expect that everything is 100% accurate when the players haven’t been properly assessed yet, it’s just a bit of potentially interesting/disturbing injury info, nothing more.

Walton is as feared, out for a while, Clarke appears to be on the mend nicely, no mention of Broady and Mass yet, perhaps as I heard, involved in the squad with niggles?

I get that but it was only 3 days ago.. He's gone from serious to back in training 2 days later.

More serious than Broady and Mass, I didn’t say he was “seriously injured” but they did think initially that it could be an injury that took a bit longer, fortunately not the case, but unfortunately a more serious injury for Walton.

You spout so much sheite the law of averages says something will occasionally be correct.

You don't have a source at the club, you just have a lot of time on your hands.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

you mentioned 4 players

Walton we all knew was long term
Clarke you said was long term it wasnt
Broady we knew had a knock vs Luton but there hadn't been else much said so I assumed not serious
Mass we knew had a knock but there hadn't been else much said so I assumed not serious

I didn’t say anything about any of them being “long term” simply repeated what I had been told, that 2 were initially considered more serious than the other 2, who had niggles.

Pretty sure there was wider known news of a Walton injury, but I hadn’t seen anything on the other 3, still haven’t seen them mentioned other than the club saying Clarke was back to full training.

Anyway, I don’t get the vitriol, just passing on some info, why is everybody getting their knickers in a twist?

Just seen a story from Phil where the gaffer says Broady and Mass will travel with niggles, as I had heard, what a coincidence.

Wrong where? Simms was meant to be coming, so was Rak Sakyi, we lost out on both when we were in the driving seat. Injuries? Named names and suspected seriousness, all names confirmed accurate and the extent of the seriousness, save for Clarke, who was thought to be more serious.

Lol, pretty damned accurate I’d say, but these are fluid situations that change, I simply passed on info I had been told, not trying to win any competitions, thought I would pass on what I’d been told is all, so sorry for the inconvenience.

I agree, that we lost out on Simms and Rak-Sakyi as cover for Walton and Clarke demonstrates how poor our recruitment has been this summer.
