....they just interviewed Mass live from Playford Road on SSN.

Nothing earth shattering to take from it, highlights:

1. He kept calling Ipswich a City.
2. A car alarm went off.
3. He wants the Aussies birds to beat the English chicks.
4. A helicoptor taking off/landing interrupted the interview.

I can therefore conclude that he doesn't know Ipswich is a town, someone's car was being stolen, he's Australian and we are about to make a huge signing.

....the car alarm went off first.

So perhaps it was an attempted car theft and the perp was using the helicopter as a getaway vehicle.

Maybe.

Or not.

Or perhaps they stole the car with a massive magnet that hung from the bottom of the chopper.

I heard a story about Thatcher from when Keane was here. No idea if it was true, but I'll share it anyway.

Apparently the reason that he was completely banished from the team/squad was that he was running a book on how long it would be till Keane got the sack, and Keane found out.

He was an experienced pro who refused to move to Suffolk, which was one of Keane’s rules that he brought in. Apparently Thatcher would arrive as late as possible, whilst still being on time, on purpose, which grated on Keane
