Jackson love ins 16:55 - Aug 27 with 5982 views | cressi | For God sake a impact substitute at the very most people saying rotate with Hirst or instead of Burns need to get a grip not even close . If we went down the Jackson route as a 9 we would be lucky to get mid table hard work should be a given I understand the transfer window is difficult but we would need two strikers if Hirst out for a period of time.
Jackson love ins on 18:41 - Aug 27 with 1830 views | AlanG296 | Think there's a degree of bias, probably unconscious, against Jackson, along with Burns, JD and Burgess, who joined from "lesser" clubs under past managers. How can a player from Accrington be good enough for us? If they're good enough for McKenna, that's more than enough for me.

Jackson love ins on 17:44 - Aug 27 by Horsham | I’d guessed Joe Jordan! Crappy pitches, two footed tackles, terracing, pay on the gate, straight through the back of the centre forward just to let him know you’re around. |
...jumpers for goalposts - Marvellous!

Jackson love ins on 22:21 - Aug 27 with 1638 views | exeterblue10 | I thought KJ had a very good game yesterday. He caused the Leeds defence problems and made space for others through his running. The first two goals came from his hard work. In fact Town were overall very good in the final third and scoring three goals against Leeds suggests no problems there. The issue was not dealing well enough with a strike force that is exceptional at this level.
Jackson love ins on 14:25 - Aug 28 with 1482 views | BondiBlue | Do you not enjoy seeing someone who works hard and makes the absolute most of his ability do well? Would rather see gnonto in our team? If so, not sure supporting town is for you at the moment. Mckenna is clearly keen on rewarding those who have worked their way up and appreciate the opportunity. He clearly believes in the team over the individual. And it's clearly working. So maybe just try to enjoy it. Best kind of success for me is achieved with a team of players no-one rates.

I think Gnonto would do well under KM tbh.

Jackson love ins on 16:01 - Aug 28 with 1413 views | itfcsuth | That’s very harsh. Himself and Donacien have come on immensely under KMc, and would not have thought they’d be 2 of the last signings from the Hirst transfer business. He has his limitations, but he has his strengths. KMc sees him as an asset, and he start to the season shows why.

Thank you for your words of wisdom but I have followed Town for over 50 yrs regards Jackson its not personal I believe he can do a job from the bench, don't all believe because McKenna rates him it makes that good useful maybe if he was good other clubs up the pyramid would be offering good money I don't see many championship clubs coming in. Everyone entitled to their own view.

Nobody from higher up the pyramid has come in for any of our first team players. Does that mean none of them are any good?

Why would you see other clubs come in for anyone? You're not Mark Ashton. We barely hear about 10% of enquiries I'd wager. You made yourself look a right numpty with this thread, the fact you've been following us for 50 years and don't know better is a brave thing to admit. Kudos for that.

No I would imagine we have a few players that could play for other decent championship sides I'm surprised it did not work for Morsey at Middlesbrough as his been outstanding since his arrival but again personal view I would also say most fan bases are fickle and I hope not but if we never won for 3/4 games how views would change hence why been consistent regards players winning or losing is important .

Alternatively, refusing to change your view in the light of compelling evidence is ridiculous. Jackson has been good under McKenna, very good recently. That you stubbornly don't rate him because he struggled in the Championship four years ago in a dysfunctional set up speaks more about you than it does about Jackson.

Time will tell never set the world alight in league one. In twelve months time I will admit if I'm wrong and I mean having 15 to 20 decent games not 7 or 8.

More incoherent drivel and backtracking: “time will tell”… “if in twelve months time” - you’ve lost your argument and with yourself!

Jackson love ins on 08:44 - Aug 29 with 1047 views | CityBlue | Jackson did what Jackson does best - run his heart out. It hasn't always produced the goods and I fear that his initial pairing with Norris back in the day really damaged not only his reputation but also his self belief. Under McKenna he has blossomed. Learning a new role yet showing an abundance of resilience in order to step up and fit in as a loose number nine when the time called. With Chaplin becoming an obvious magnet for opposition teams knowing how dangerous he is it allows channels to open up that can only be exploited by someone with Jackson's speed. As the season progresses we will see Chappers given more space and then we may see the likes of Freddy making more appearances.
