I maybe getting on but I remember when TWTD forum was full of decent discussion points on cheese and Brexit and joking about new signings, people helping each other out and a general laugh. I mean people were helping me with my dissertation well over a decade ago.

But jesus wept, posters body shaming a new signing based on a photo.

Double chin, really. The state of some of these posters. Give your head a wobble. I know this is the new age of the internet where everyone is edgey and everything is a meme but someone please just put me out of my misery. I just want to share a passion with some peers and enjoy the past, present and future of the club.

I don't know, someone give me some hope or wise words.

How does one prove one isn't a Norwich supporter? Get a virginity test for your sister or something?

Mad Harry habeen regularly body shaming people on here for the past few years with barely a comment.

Harry has been pulled up many times for it.

But "Mad Harry"? You can't slam someone for body shaming and then use a mental healthist slur! ;-)

I think it is fairly obvious I am an Ipswich supporter. I doubt many people outside of our supporter base would recall some of the stuff I have posted, let alone a Norwich supporter. I don't think many Ipswich supporters recall it! A few things others probably forgot... I owned 1995/96's Mid-Season Blitz on VHS, which had Mason and Uhlenbeek celebrating the cup win over then Champions Blackburn away in the Green/Claret away strip on the front. I doub't many recall that VHS. I was also there when Tranmere wore a red-Ipswich third strip from a few seasons prior against Ipswich, when the referee deemed at the last minute the kits clashed, despite the season previous Ipswich having to use that same Green and Claret kit away at Tranmere for the exact same reason.... the EFL in the 90s!

So, stop spreading lies.

This is not the most successful we've been in 20 years and it's not the most negative it's ever been on here either, let's not overstate things. There's defo a few trolls/budgies that have crept through the net but they're easily ignored.

When would you say we've been more successful than we are currently? The playoff season was ok, but nothing like the side we have now. The general structure and ownership of the club are lightyears ahead of anywhere we've been in the last 20 years.

We've made the Championship play offs three times in the last 20 years and narrowly missed out a couple more times. If we're measuring success by how we're actually performing then all of those years were more successful than a side that managed to get promoted from League 1. We've got the potential to go on to greater success, but we aren't there yet.

We're still the only East Anglian club to play in Europe, this century. ... and twice! Norwich have been in the Premiership more, but never even threatened a European qualification! Surely playing back to back seasons in the Europa League trumps being relegated 15 times?

It's over 20 years since we were in Europe. A Town fan would know that.

We've never played in the Europa League! That seals it. Definite budgie.

Not being funny, but "mental healthist" slurs are all too often used on here as an accusation or form of insult when people have lost the argument.

Totally unacceptable, & perpetrators are very rarely pulled up for it. (I'm not talking about instances where it's just good-humoured joshing).
