I think with keepers you just have to say who is the best keeper in the long run and then play them. Not wait for the other guy to have a bad game. Harsh on VH but i dont think he has the presence of Walton.

Same with Tuenzebe. If hes the real deal and fully fit id play him too.

Yeah, his saves had already been mentioned so didn't think it needed saying again.

Been faultless again so far, and the fancy footwork I mentioned started the move for Chappers' goal

Yeah I think I just wanted to mention them again they've been that good 😅

I was with you but McKenna was right. Hladky solid and Walton will have to wait his time. I presume Walton will get the Fulham match now.

He was fantastic with his feet tonight. As good a keeper as we've had with his feet I would say. If anything will keep him in goal it will be that because Walton is better in most other facets.

But confidence and games are massive for a keeper. Right now Hladky has the wavelength and understanding with his defence. I'm always a bit more nervous about set plays with him but he's earned this right now. And he knows he has to keep performing.

Not an exaggeration but I think tonight is probably up there with the best kicking performance I have seen from a keeper in a long time. I don't think he misplaced a pass, his long balls were on point, he was so calm and his positioning was just perfect.

He looked like Neuer in his prime.

Vaz was brilliant tonight. Some of those pinged balls

It's his shirt to lose now, imo, he's earned it.

Very difficult to drop Hladky to be honest. He's not done much wrong.

You put Walton in, he's under pressure immediately. Also, I know Walton was OK last year in League 1 with the ball at his feet, but the Championship teams/forwards are a lot better/quicker at closing down which I don't think some have realised. I think Walton will struggle with that side of it.

That pass that split their two attackers and lead to the second goal was class.

Seconded. I mean I'm still sh*t@ng it when we are passing about but it's so effective. 2nd goal came from him. And what a through. All he played for Hirst in the second half!

He was almost playing in midfield at time he was so far out of his box. (If the lob they did had been better....). He was brilliant. They didn't offer a lot in term of shots though.

I mean a bit like Edmundson coming in....Hladky is perfect for certain games. Just don't like that with keepers (See Arsenal).
