Whenever these lot get criticised they always say "it's a free country, free speech etc" but I maintain that if you run one of these podcasts you have a responsibility to challenge opinions that are absolute clickbait horses**t, like this one.
Same goes for that Alex Griffin bloke. Don't just stick a microphone under the nose of the village idiot and let them spout unchallenged, throw the odd fact in now and again. |

I think the trouble here is when opinion collides with facts. I can say water runs uphill and claim it's my opinion but it's still impossible.
Guy called us boring. We're getting 29,000 every week because our football is amazing to watch and we're the top goalscorers in the division. Our last four home games - all wins - were 3-2 (came from 2-0 down), 4-3 (having gone from 3-1 up to 3-3), 3-0 and 4-2.

If you want to judge a platform by its contributors then TWTD doesn't come out smelling of roses in some cases.
I actually enjoy TT, I swallow most Town content but can zone out when certain people come on that show. Where I think BM succeeds is in NOT having other fans come on to spout their drivel. |

Quite, apart from when Phil gets on the Dandelion and Burdock before writing a headline TWTD is fairly even-keeled.
Likewise it never tolerates racism, homophobia and hate and anyone doing it gets called out and banned fairly sharpish. There's a set of rules saying so rather than a disclaimer or anything.
Plus there's a strong correlation between this place's biggest critics and the list of people who have committed the former. | |
