What is the scale that weighs decades of oppression, thousands of civilian deaths, ten of thousands in indefinite detention, the daily acts of violence inherent to life under an occupying power, aerial bombardments that kill and maim thousands against a very different type of horrific violence? There isn't one.

That's seemingly because I regard both the massacre at the Nova music festival and the aerial bombardment of Gaza, which has already killed 500 civilians, as abominable. in truth i don't know how any democratic state would respond to having hamas on its border intent on its destruction. unpicking state actions is not then straightforward, but the equivalence you are pushing is entirely false. if you can't look at the events of the last 3 days and see that then shame on you.
