I've always considered the 4th Brazilian goal in the 1970 World Cup Finalas the pinnacle of goal scoring...... aside from the fact Saturday was not a World Cup final I have to say that as a team goal from front to back I haven't seen better at first team level.... still rate Jamma's volley as the best strike by a Town player I think.

It’s arguably the best goal, including the fantastic build up, I’ve ever seen at Portman Road. We are simply unbelievable. This team will go down as one of our most memorable, but I genuinely believe if we can go even further!
The only slight negative about it, is the finish was so brilliant the buildup doesn't seem to be getting as much positivity as it deserves.
It is also why I want a sensible Jan window. It's clear the entire squad have an amazing understanding. Many managers are highlighting that as a key fact in our progression. Too many changes to the squad could break that understanding

I’ve no idea what constitutes ‘viral’ these days? My son in law has 6m insta views of him making some butterfly protection net things for the raised beds on his allotment, so 4.2m views doesn’t sound like that much to me!
I know what constitutes a sad barsteward, .. someone sat watching someone make a butterfly net round their butter beans.

2 players max. We don't want to tinker with this magic too much...

Luongo’s goal last week against Millwall was my favourite this season, but the Burns effort just eclipses it.

I wonder if it will make Anglia News ahead of Norwich beating Bristol City in a nothing mid table game
Well Joe they did us proud. I fell Anglia are very fair in their coverage certainly last Friday evening they strongly made the point about the difference between the atmosphere between the two clubs.

………and it probably won’t get a mention on local tv tonight lol.
I'd also call out the protracted triangle passing moves on the nearside that drew the Coventry players in and left all that space for Davis. I've noticed this as a town tactic, our neat passing fools the opposition into trying to make the tackle leaving acres of space for us.
One neat pass out of there, and we are on goal- suckers!

***THIS***
Compared to our typical X/Twitter club posts.. this Burns goal footage has spread very far and wide
Arrived at work this morning (in Santiago, Chile), and the first thing my boss said to me was ‘is this your football team?’ while showing me the video of Wes’ goal that had somehow cropped up on his twitter feed.
For context, he’s a local and he doesn’t even really like football - can’t imagine any itfc content has graced his phone screen before.
