Nsiala released by Fleetwood a few days ago 09:14 - Dec 5 with 9860 views | gordon | Not sure if already mentioned on here, anyone know why? Jon Nolan is now playing non-league for Macclesfield. Possibly one of the most extraordinary transfer moves in ITFC history, the Nolan / Nsiala £2 million double swoop.

Nsiala released by Fleetwood a few days ago on 21:40 - Dec 5 with 2573 views | Mullet | Feels like both players had a massive "sliding doors" moment signing for us and vice versa. Had Hurst not been a totally awful sh1tstain of a man and a manager, bringing in two pillars of his most successful side makes total sense. Nolan looked like he might make the step up initially, albeit with some patience but the circumstances around that relegation and his subsequent injury meant he was only headed in one direction. Nsiala couldn't catch a break. Reminded me of Diallo/Thetis in that he could do something really well like win a header or see a man out, then the next minute you were sweating out of your bumhole wondering what calamity he was about to commit. Put that into the maelstrom of a fanbase who were desperate for it to succeed and the disgusting treatment of proper footballers already established in their positions, who wanted the best for the club and it's easy to see why they were doomed to failure. Making the step up when the house is falling down around you thanks to the bloke who gambled big on you is a desperate situation for everyone.

Your reasoning... Dyland criticises Mach for relentlessly calling certain ex players parasites, and worse = Dyland loves said players and thinks they are above criticism. Utter nonsense, as I've explained countless times.

Anything else? Lets not criticise the players whom you respect as you are going to get your customary hysteria. Each to their own. Stop seeking needless arguments.

Nsiala released by Fleetwood a few days ago on 23:00 - Dec 5 with 2421 views | TractorFrog | I think Toto Nsiala was our best player in the 2020/21 season.
| They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all! | Poll: | Who should start in CM with Cajuste? |

Nsiala released by Fleetwood a few days ago on 21:17 - Dec 5 by BarcaBlue | Nsiala isn't a Lg 1 defender, he's just been released by Fleetwood, who are 21st in League 1. He was not good enough for us or Bolton in the same league and now he's been released by 21st placed Fleetwood. Nolan is now non-league. I can't remember seeing a midfielder hide so much as Nolan when he played for us. Even ignoring the price tag they were dreadful signings, considering the price it was criminal. |
I don't know the reason he's been released there but he was in his 10th season in L1 or better. Cook described in 2021 as one of the top 3 defenders in the division. I don't agree with cook he but he was fairly obviously a L1 capable defender. He wasnt a good signing. It didn't work but we were a shambles anyway let's be fair. Both poor signings. Just saying they weren't useless players.

Nsiala released by Fleetwood a few days ago on 21:33 - Dec 5 by Vaughan8 | Apologises. I meant it in a light hearted manner. Definitely had different opinions on him. I'm just glad he isn't here anymore. His name still makes me shudder (along with a few others!) |
Some story still makes me laugh even today. We played Gillingham on Boxing Day in 2019/20. We drew 0-0 and after this game Nsiala got a dogs abuse on this messageboard. No matter how bad he was we still kept a clean sheet. 3 days later we had a defensive horror at Lincoln. 5 goals conceded, 5-3 defeat, embarrassing performance from our defence led by Captain Fantastic. But surpise, surprise......barely a word of criticism on here about him and the rest of the defence. So who was at fault then? The main culprit was ... Lambert. Not our defenders just Lambert. Nsiala DID NOT PLAY in that game. He obviously would have got an abuse on here from some had he played. As you say definitely different opinions. And there was a good numbers of clean sheets with him in the team. He wasn't great but equally he wasn't as bad as people make out. [Post edited 5 Dec 2023 23:41]

Nsiala released by Fleetwood a few days ago on 19:38 - Dec 5 by JackNorthStand | Absolutely awful player Nsiala. Headless, wreckless and I used to lose count the amount of times he was caught the wrong side of his CB partner or would let an attacker run off him. I recall at the time some defended him. I would imagine now in hindsight majority would agree he was an awful player. [Post edited 5 Dec 2023 19:39]

Nsiala released by Fleetwood a few days ago on 00:30 - Dec 6 with 2350 views | Reus30 | The fact that Matt Rhead, who by all accounts is basically a non-league Grant Holt, is calling Toto poop, says it all. It takes a donkey to know a donkey (or something like that). Toto at least made appearances and put a shift in every time he put on the shirt. Less said about Nolan the better. It's weird looking back at some absolute random transfers from the last 15 years.... Wouldn't happen now.

Nsiala looked like an average League 1 stopper. Out of his depth in the Championship. The big problem was that Hurst went back to his old club & paid them £2m for the pair.

Nsiala is the worst player I've seen for us who played a decent chunk of games, just technically absolutely abysmal, a walking free kick/penalty and just couldn't trust him. As a muck and bullets defender he could be used and was decent enough as one of them, but I don't enjoy watching a team play like that so could never enjoy watching a player who just couldn't pass the ball. Nolan a funny one, every now and again he'd be really good - could run for days, two good feet, eye for goal.....but clearly had issues effecting him and his ability to perform regularly, as could easily cut it in the Championship on his day, but did so probably 5-6 times in a career of a decade and has drifted down the leagues

Of course Hurst's recruitment did start the problems at that time. However there was even a bigger problem and that was the attitude of the senior problems. Hurst was the problem for them, so was Lambert, so was Cook.......Everything but the players ! As for Nsiala he obviously wasn't good enough for the Championship. League One was his level. But again, it's funny.... people gave him a dogs abuse after the 0-0 draw to Gillingham while they sat quiet and didn't say a bad word about our defence when we were embarrassed 3-5 by Lincoln away or 1-4 to Peterborough at home. Nsiala didn't play in these last two. He was no worse than the other defenders we had at that time. All were bang average.

He was an inferior defender to Wilson, Chambers, Woolfenden, even to Knundsen and Skuse as emergency centre backs. Who have I missed that were at his level?
