Flares and flags v norwich is a terrible idea. We lose we look like idiots. It's a league game midway through season.
However.
It did look amazing last time. And will probably look as good this time so I'll enjoy seeing it after.

I didn't like the idea. But it looked fantastic which i said when It happened and after.
I'm caught with this game.
It did and will look brilliant no question.
But it's a game midway through the season against a side 19 points behind us and is just a league game with nothing riding on it other than 3 points.
As said I'll enjoy seeing it after it happens. But I do find it odd for a Dec league fixture. | |

Pride comes before a fall and all that, I think of all the local derby games I've been to over the past 30 years home and away, never needed to "create an atmosphere" to get excited for this game.

It's more a connection with the players. And excitement. Nothing to do with pride, cos not a single thing about getting excited and carried away like this suggests we think the game is won before it begins.
Beggars belief any fellow fans don't get it.

Exeter at home was our most blistering first 45 under KM, after that "welcome" last season.

Quite right. In general, I absolutely relish feeling silly when I get things wrong, it's massively liberating and the jolly old ego can go and slink off back to its corner. Mind you, I have had a lot of practice at feeling silly. Not so much the other dwarves. | |

To the point about fans... the clue is in the name innit... there are plenty of good folk who follow Town and support via various means, big or small, but they aren't really "fans" if they don't get the local derby is more than an opp to win another three points.
Me personally, won't take part cos I'm a lazy old fart who wants to sit around talking sh1te somewhere warm right up until kickoff. I really don't understand the negativity though... seems like some are overthinking it or simply being miserable sods.
