First one I remember clearly was 88 or 89.
We were in the second division, a division below them. Beat them 4-0 in the Hospital Cup at Carrow Road.
I was 8 or 9. Incredibly, it was the same day I went to my first nightclub (Sloanes).
Still no idea how they let me in but there I was, sat on a chair, whilst my dad and his mates were having a pint, being surrounded by all sorts of women who, looking back were obviously drunk, and wondering why a kid was sat in a heaving nightclub / bar with a Coke singing along with the adults to Banarama's 'Help me if you can I'm feeling down, we've just been stuffed 4-0 by Ipswich Town'. | | | |
