FFS on 20:44 - Dec 18 by gainsboroughblue | Hope I'm wrong but this result looks a formality now. Gulf in class is huge. Get the feeling the crowd know it too. Very quiet. |
There's an ugly arrogance about Leicester, wasn't expecting that. Overplaying and taunting the crowd.

FFS on 20:48 - Dec 18 by Dubtractor | Yeah, complete control doesn't really cover it. Leicester look terrifying when they attack. |
Is it me or does the yellow kit under the lights make them look quicker.. Which is a worry given we'll be playing them under lthe ights!
FFS on 20:57 - Dec 18 with 1691 views | Herbivore | Hard to fully know what to make of Leicester. They look regularly on the brink of gifting you something at the back as their passing out isn't exactly crisp. They've clearly got bags of individual quality but patterns of play often not really quite coming off. Dangerous in the transition but not amazing at building out. The individual quality does really standout but I think as a collective we're capable of giving them a good game.

Agreed, think we'll give them a sterner test than Brum currently are!

You'd have thought they'd have learned their lesson, from when they binned off Rowett to bring in Zola, a bigger name, when they had just beat town and were 6th or 7th at the time? Again, it's an ownership group bringing in a bigger name, but not necessarily better than the manager they had in post at the time...

When you look at Leics. line up, for the Championship it's insane.

They'd be midtable in the Prem with that squad I think.

FFS on 21:26 - Dec 18 with 1386 views | Dubtractor | What's really standing out about Leicester for me, is that it seems their whole team are really tidy technical players, and almost all happy to go for a dribble in really tight spaces. Much be really tough to defend against.

FFS on 20:15 - Dec 18 by GlasgowBlue | The keeper was poor imo. Made up the striker's mind by committing too soon. |
I think it’s safe to say, we won’t be playing a high line vs Leicester! Teams who have had most success vs them this season have let them have the ball and get them to break them down. Negate the pace advantage. Agree with your other post GB. Williams at RB for pace seems a certainty. Our quality on the ball is probably unmatched this season though. It’s going to be a really interesting game where we naturally go on the front foot at home, but that will play into their hands.

....they just seem to do whatever they fancy doing. A bit like us going forward, but better players technically. I expect we'll struggle defensively against them!

I'd play Williams, Axel, Fridge and Davis against them. Match their pace.

Can't see us changing our style at home. Maybe away for sure. But we will attack them like any home game I think.
