Of all the fake news silliness I am seeing over transfers, the one I actually would like that is being bounded about would be Adam Webster coming back, the link is coming from his friendship with Chaplin, a good relationship with Ashton and the fact he's out of favour at Brighton presently. I didn't realise Downes was actually on loan at Southampton, I assumed he came in as a swap for Ward-Prowse
Cresswell I am sure is still a class act but he can't have the running energy of Davis even if his left foot could be even better? He might be a bit better defensively given his experience over the years |  |
