I won't be surprised if we move for Ryan Hardie at Plymouth 6ft 2
Aged 26 scores quite regularly works hard affordable wages must tick a few boxes plus Plymouth will
sell as has been shown recently.

I like him and feel he’d fit into our system well and may well score more than Hirst and like you say Plymouth may well sell.

He has always impressed me with his workrate and movement that's for sure.

Plymouth have lost a lot of players this window through loans ending. Doubt they’ll let any more players go by choice.
They don’t strike me as a selling club unless a silly bid comes in which I don’t think we will do.

Clutching at straws but he may see us as a better shop window than Plymouth to make a late bid for the Scotland squad for Euro2024.

As said in the other thread, I wonder how much Thomas-Asante would cost, I’m sure West Brom have some money issues.

£2m for a straight buy, or £2.5m if they'll take Freddie as well....

What is silly for Plymouth though?

They were always telling us they had money are were basically poverty stricken

I don't think any of us genuinely believed that line, mind you

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Can't see a newly appointed manager selling one of their better players to a divisional rival when they are still not safe from relegation.

That would be interesting. He his one of their most disliked ex players.

There must be some strikers on the continent that would be very capable.

Right now there doesn’t seem an obvious name from the lower leagues and anyone from the championship is very hard to prise out.

Gallagher, Hardie both useful but are they really top championship strikers? They’re certainly not our Marcus Stewart signing.

Maybe we just have to take a punt on another premier league loan.

We paid 2.5 millon for Marcus in the 90's now we expect that quality 20 plus years later not going to happen we are still shopping in poundland looking for a bargain

There was no Financial Fair Play in the 90s.

Devante Cole.

The more I think of that one the more I like it.

I like Ryan Hardie as well for what it's worth.
