Safe to say this new Bournemouth manager won’t be sad to see Kieffer on his way…
Can’t even get a game against Swansea reserves.

5-0 and it's not even half time.

That's the magic of the cup when a lower league side gets a chance to play one of the top Premier League big boys.

Even Maidstone fans would be disappointed with this kind of first half performance on Saturday. Awful from Swansea.

Bournemouth obviously a very good team, very slick going forwards but Swansea look hopeless at the back. We've found that out once already this season but if they're going to try and persist with this possession-based game they see as their identity they could take a fair few heavy beatings in the league before the end of the season.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

I presume Moore would only be cup-tied if he comes on or does being named on the bench do the trick?

EDIT: He has come on at half time anyway.

Crazy game as Swansea have had 50% possession and more shots than Bournemouth in the first half

Problem is they tended to have a marker alongside them when they were shooting instead of having the freedom of the stadium to pick their spot.

They were a shambles defensively first half against Southampton. Worst I've seen in the Championship for some time,

They look horrendous even allowing for Bournemouth and Brooks in particular being excellent.

That will explain why the goals have now dried up.

And when he does get on, he’s anonymous in a team that was battering them. I’m really not convinced he’s worth chasing. (Although he nearly scored there with a flicked header from a corner, but didn’t hit the target).

Personally I don't particularly want him here.

It reminds me of when we got Scowcroft back. I think that was to cover Kuqi’s injury and it blew our promotion hopes completely.
We really do need a replacement for Hirst, but I don’t think Kieffer will suit the way we play now.
That said, if he’s the only viable option then I guess it’s better than getting no-one in.

Yeah, Kuqi going down really messed us up. Think we would have made the automatics had he not picked up an injury when he did.

I'm surprised we haven't been linked to Langstaff of Notts County, unless we're flying under the radar with him. But bringing in two League Two strikers, should we sign Al-Hamadi too, is probably too much of a risk.

To be honest, I'm not that enamoured with Gallagher either but I suppose that's the market we're shopping in. But, with Blackburn seemingly wanting to keep him, it seems doubtful he'll be joining currently.

If I had to guess, I think we'll bring in Moore, Al-Hamadi and perhaps Scarlett will return on transfer deadline day.
