I thought we might scrape into or challenge for top six. And that would have constituted a great season. What we have achieved to date is unreal. Well done you. I wouldn’t have put a penny on us being where we are.

I had us mid to top half of the table with an outside chance of making the play-offs with 7 to go.
Usually, one side makes a late dash and makes 6th, I was hoping that would be us.

I think quite a few of us predicted a really strong season and a possible shot at promotion. We were clearly looking a full division above league 1 by the end.
But 84 points with 7 to go, going head to head with two crazy strong championship teams, top of league with 7 to go, 100 points quite possible...that is the bit that is 'bonkers' (as a past manager might have called it).

Anything over that would've been an incredible bonus.

Wasn't convinced any of the defence would be up to scratch (Davis apart), didn't think our CDM pairing would cope, thought Omari had no end product, Chappers would be found out, Wes wouldn't be good enough etc.

Basically, all barring Broady and Davis would need upgrading.

I've been wrong in the past, but never quite *THIS* wrong!

I had us 10th too, but I'm always a bit of a nancy with my predictions as I don't like to get ahead of myself. This is dreamland stuff really.

Portman road is pound for pound the best value ticket in the football league over nearly 2 full seasons. That seemed completely absurd just 2 years ago. Those players you mentioned have stepped up remarkably, time for us to do likewise and show our appreciation as fans by roaring them on for this last push.
