To be honest, I reckon a lot of this is just journos putting 2+2 together and getting roughly 4.5.
It's an educated guess really isn't it, as a premier league club without a manager this summer why wouldn't you be looking at a 38 year old manager who's just earned back to back promotions?
Deep down I think we all know KM will want to stay and continue the project, but as others have said, theres nothing we can do if he wants a fresh challenge.

I wouldn’t be be at all surprised if they are all true, and his agents have been sounded out by each of Palace (last season), ManU, Chelsea and Brighton and this has been leaked by his agents. Kompany wasn't linked with a Chelsea or Man U. Potter had to work his butt off at Brighton for a chance. Rodgers had to do well with Swansea in the Prem before his big shot too.
It seems very strange to me, that he is being linked with two jobs that aren't even vacant. There could be a kind of click bait to it, but surely that would involve bigger names than Kieran?
