Similar with me, but my mum didn’t carry to term. I also only found out much later too and the wounds were obviously still there. It was only when I got married they mentioned it to my wife.

No apologies needed Hoppy Losing a child is the worst nightmare every parent dreads. There is so much pain There is trying to make sense of a senseless loss that leaves a gaping hole in your heart for the rest of your life. I would have had two sisters rather than one but the first only lived a few hours, these experiences (although rarely exactly the same) are more common than many realise and, as you say, parents can bottle up their sadness.

Not trite at all, thanks for the thoughts, and as you have known similar circumstances, would know what it's like to live with that sadness.
