Am i being thick here!! 16:28 - Jun 19 with 4192 views | Leathersblueblood | I can see TNT have the Liverpool game , and Prime Video have two of the Ipswich games in December, does this mean that they are not actually on Sky Sports?
Am i being thick here!! on 16:30 - Jun 19 with 4140 views | nodge_blue | Correct. tnt sports is now on discovery+. Totally separate to sky.

Yes. Sky get the best slots so TNT is left with the unpopular Kick-off times and days. TNT featured Liverpool games a lot last season. Klopp is on record making some caustic comments about them.

Just remember after you’ve signed up multiple times, paid multiple times and are dealing with a barrage of spam from all of them that competition is good for us.

We have Amazon Prime and have the football. We haven’t paid for any extras. Has it changed since last season? [Post edited 19 Jun 2024 17:40]

You can get TNT for £25 a month via BT but it's a 2 year contract. £30 a month via Sky, no contract. £30.99 direct on the site, no contract.

It's so silly, isn't it? It's fine if all TV companies have access to all games, then each can price it up in competition with the others, and the viewer benefits from competition. But if they don't, it's not competition at all! It's just multiple monopolies! It's like if Vodafone had the rights to calling phone numbers beginning with a 1 (after the code), EE had the rights to 2, etc. To call everyone, you need a whole bunch of contracts and phones. Silly silly silly. Competition works reasonably in some industries, but in many it's just not true competition at the end user level.

Prime and TNT sometimes show entire rounds of fixtures. That's likely what he means.

BT Sport (now TNT) is a con. Started off reasonably priced then put either the main package or the HD add on up every month until it became a stupid price. It's actually embarrassing to admit how much I pay for Sky/TNT/Premier Sports each month.

It drives the prices down too ... Will Town TV be covering the matches that are televised? If not, I guess they will only get a few matches across the season, especially if they continue to be barred from 3.00 Saturdays (do those even exist in the Premier League?)

Hey guys tip for you, if you look at EE phones TNT is an extra included in the 'All Round' phone contracts as a 'mobile extra' package. The price difference between 'All round' and another was £2. TNT Sports or Apple Music or o365 are mobile extras. So I moved from Vodafone to EE and TNT has cost me £2 a month essentially. You can swap the addons per month also. [Post edited 19 Jun 2024 21:37]
