Have you seen them play. All 3 were excellent. Greaves was their player of the year and in the champ team of the season. Philogene being wanted by several Prem clubs tells you all you need to know and Delap wast their player to sell and a promising Man City talent whom they have included a buy back. Hull played very well a d these are their best players.
Was a new team and took them some time. Rosenior in my opinion had them playing really well 2nd half of the season. |  |

I hope you're right. Can't say I noticed either of them in our 2 games against them, but then I'd have been focussed on us. The fees seem quite inflated, although I'm sure KM can spot a player and Ashton won't get his pants pulled down. The price seems to be the inevitable PL premium. |  |

Not saying they are not good - they obviously are. But to have three such good players and not get into the PO’s must say something about the rest of the team. | |

It's massively a squad game now though isn't it. With the five subs and look what we did. It's 3 players from 20+ contributing. Delap also had a. Injury and missed a chunk like Hirst. Hull didn't have Delap and Philogene before and they took them up a level for sure.
We are also buying them a year on in their development and who should only get better. Just the right strategy for me. We're building something sustainable. | |

I don't think Delap is unexciting by any means, he seems to be very tenacious, looks good on the ball and generally seems to cross it into areas that McKenna will like
I think he'll push Burns for a start on the right but could also play in the 10 or even upfront

Not really because he's just one player. Here we are talking about three really, really good players, players good enough for the prem. I would have thought that a team with 3 players of that quality would have done better than Hull did last year. It's not a reflection on those players but on the quality of the rest of the team - or of the manager/s. | |
