I know it's ancient history, but it was a shame for the lad that he wasn't allowed to go back on loan to Swindon. He was fantastic there, and he's not had a spell like that before or since.

Not really as you’re basing your proof on hindsight. At the time we were a L1 team egress Huddersfield were a league above. He also played a fair bit for them as well - it has panned out badly for him, but players want to prove themselves at a higher level which they were at the time. |  | | |
