I would very much doubt that either candidate is who most people would hope for, but it does seem like with Starmer and Labour, we are in the age of "not the other guy" rather than there being some inspirational figure. | | | |

Those top seven polls on the page I linked are all 21st or 22nd to 23rd July (so maybe 3 days). What I meant was I guess the slightly fuzzy point between Biden standing down and Harris looking virtually certain to be the Democrat candidate - closer to the latter really.
Before that (say a week ago or more), any polling including her she would be seen as VP. | |
