Riddled with injuries last 2 seasons. His stint at Crewe was terminated as a result, then in Jan he went to Stockport, largely unannounced at the time as he wasn't expected to be fit til March, and in the end hardly played for them.
A season at Peterbrough would be a great move for him if he can stay fit. |  |

I feel he may have been looked at as a replacement if we didn't go up and had sold him - but not sure he would want the move, knowing he wouldn't get much football at his age?

One person's greedy is anothers sensible.
Completely understand the frustration, as a footballer surely you want to play. However these days the career can be short, the money he has earned will set him up for life already if he is careful. I don't blame him for moving, where would you rather learn your trade? At one of the top academies in the world with all the best facilities or a what was Championship club trending downwards with an owner who was reluctant to spend any more. Nowadays youngsters might see it differently due to our change in fortune, but I don't blame him for going. |  |
