I was 3724 in the queue and waited nearly 1.5 hours for the sold out message. At least the match can be watched on TNT. The Premier League needs to allow supporters to watch the game live on some televised platform within the UK for all matches. Mental health is an issue when chasing tickets. Anything above £150 in hospitality is too much to pay for a match. We just want to see our team play. Come on PL and UEFA sort out your petty regulations. |
PL need to do a Netflix style subscription thing where you can subscribe monthly/annually/per game but at decent prices. Would no way stop people from going and the grounds would still be full. |  |

I think in America for NFL the game is shown if the match sells out.
We should do that. Watching on tv is nothing like being there so tickets would still be in high demand. |  |

What does it mean when the ticket appears, you click on it, and then it kinda flashes before disappearing again. Assume it is someone else getting that seat? (had it happen a couple of times on seats in the back row of the west stand.
My thoughts on the process in general: This is basically a second-round ballot. Pot luck whether you get in say the top 1k-2k to get a ticket. I was 2,300 ish - nothing left, apart from those that flashed available and then disappeared after refreshing a few times. [Post edited 29 Jul 2024 11:59]

Re the flashing seat thing, I saw that too and put it down to someone else having clicked the seat before you, that said; other times you actually get a message saying "the seat selected is no longer available", so who knows...
Interesting to see how the Season Ticket resale, sale, works. How many etc, the tickets that become available from that process will be the better positioned seats. | | | |

Believe so, unless the ticket office is able to freeze seats while processing their own sales or seat moves. We saw a few flashing ones and a few which failed to add properly to basket (£ added to basket but no ticket details). It's akin to a second ballot but in which multiple devices may improve your odds significantly. We missed out on tickets for the family this time. Hopefully the less sexy games are also less popular with our members! | | | |

I was 3000, and I managed to grab one, I think when you get to the map, you just need to constantly refresh and some pop up and go and others stay - I suppose its just down to how quick you click on the seat and add it. completely pot luck. |  | | |

It seems from this thread the ticketing thing worked ok, but a lot of people trying to get tickets which is understandable.
The queueing/waiting room thing I understand as they don't want everyone crashing the system trying to get on at 10am. However, wouldn't it just be better to put every member who wants one in a ballot and draw out names? surely its a similar effect?
I guess this way someone can log on and "reject" a ticket if its restricted view etc.
One thing I did want to check (not sure if anyone did it) but can you get an adult ticket with a junior blues membership person? | | | |

Financially that would be bad for clubs like ours. We do well from the collective nature of the current deal. Putting everything on PPV would mean a lot more of the money going to the big clubs. | | | |

The queue started at 10am, whatever time you logged on and joined the waiting list to access the system. at 10am everybody was assigned a random position in the queue, you likely were just outside, sorry.
Every system will annoy people, but I felt that this one was very transparent, easy to use, not glitching and felt generally ok. I am aware that I got a ticket, so that may taint my opinion! |  | | |

I was actually on before 9:30, but it made zero difference.
I have 3 different devices open, my mobile hit me at 6700, the other at 6400 and my lucky one was just over 3000.
quite literally pot luck. some joined at near 10 and got low numbers. | | | |
