Yep....and why does no one have the balls to do this?? The richest 1% own half the World's wealth. That is where everything is fecked. It's nothing to do with hard work. I always hear...why should we tax hard workers and those who have earnt their mega salaries. Much wealth is legacy. No individals need to be worth 100s of billions. Also controls on divident payments. Its is borderline criminal to pay huge bonues to bosses of water compaines that will now likely need public money to bail them out. Sick of capitalism. Its's failed. Like communism failed. A middle ground is needed but whatever it is wealth needs a re-set, a more reasonable balancing or we just continue with the rich getting richer and the poor poorer. Again nothing to do with hard, work or talent.

"Yep....and why does no one have the balls to do this?? " It isn't easy to do and they hold way too much power, essentially. There is/was talk of aligning capital gains with income tax which would raise a decent amount of money per year and primarily would only affect richer people. I'd fully support that if we go that way.

The same mega rich funding these wars and munitions. The same mega rich eating 4lb steaks whilst we are queuing at foodbanks. The same mega rich who are the biggest criminals of the lot and use puppets like Farage to create the chaos they need to profit. It's too late, we need too much. We have too little. Our foundations are crumbling.

It's not just religion (it might not be religion at all). It's division, Brexit, tribalism, bs. It's human kind It's capitalism It's empathy. We are doomed.

I would imagine that such a move would affect the majority of MPs in the house and would therefore stand no chance of getting through. The press would also have a field day with their anti-business narrative. It's incredibly hard to envisage how real change is even possible in our so called democracy.

Devolution. Remove the government as a whole. Create states. Elect those passionate about the area instead of placed figureheads in areas of which they don't care. Allow people to be proud of their local areas instead of treating it as a dumping ground whilst clambering over others to make it. Finance it and fund it for functional use rather than vanity projects.

I doubt the majority of MPs would be affected now looking at the latest Labour intake

I honestly thought 12.12.12 would have been the day of doom. It maybe 08.16.24 (american date to fit my narrative). The season will not begin, the nukes will fly overhead and we will never know if we win the league.
