The Premiership edition! Feels good. Hope you've all had a great time worrying about transfers this summer. First tier problems, hey?
I've made a radical change this year. I've decided to reduce the teams from 24 to 20. It's now the 1-20 prediction competition.
The scoring system is the same as last year. You predict every team’s position and get one point for every position that team finishes away from your prediction. For example, if you predict Ipswich to finish 2nd and we finish 1st, you will get 1 point. All the teams are added to the total so the objective is to get as few points as possible.
Any tiebreakers will be decided first by who predicts Town’s position most accurately, because we are the most important team in the EPL (apparently that's what people have called it our absence) and then by whose 1st placed predicted team finishes closest to the title, then 2nd place, then 3rd... and so on.
I track this in a spreadsheet, so please follow these rules
Don't:
• number teams as 1,2,3 etc
• put champions, relegated
• put spaces between teams
Do:
• Copy and paste the team names below. The spreadsheet imports the TWTD table, so we want to use the same names.
• Feel free to edit up to the deadline
