Chelsea are inhumane and unethical.
Poor Trev :( on 09:53 - Aug 13 with 3555 views | Ryorry |
Seems not just an unpleasant way to treat anyone, but even if they're just being hard-nosed, also a rather stupid way to treat a valuable "asset".

They seem to be a total basket case nowadays Imagine if we finished above them, it would be hilarious

Chelsea are the latest example of what can happen with American owners... They have gone from the best owner in the league to truly the worst now. Even above the Glazers. Appalling way to treat Trev and Gallagher who have been there since age 8. [Post edited 13 Aug 2024 12:53]

Poor Trev :( on 10:08 - Aug 13 by Ryorry | Didn't know about Gallagher, but hope Trev sticks 5 past them in both games, wherever he goes |
Gallagher has been made to train with the reserves to force him out. They made him a very derisory contract offer and then briefed the press that he was the one who wouldn't sign a new deal so he forced their hand (omitting that it was a one year extension on the same money as a contract he signed 3 years ago). They did the same to Mason Mount too with all kinds of propaganda after he left. Dreadful people.

Wow, so thoroughly devious & liars to boot ... (sorry). Thanks for the info.

Poor Trev :( on 10:26 - Aug 13 with 3005 views | SheffordBlue | There are some practicalities with their squad size that due to its huge size not everyone can fit in the first room changing rooms, etc. I suspect anyone who isn't going to be part of the first team squad make up with be accommodated/training elsewhere now.

Suspect if we finish above Chelsea a) we'll be playing in Europe next season, and; b) we'll be needing a new Manager as KM will be the most in demand gaffer in the world.

Not so sure that Chelsea will improve dramatically compared to last season. If I were a betting man I’ll have £20 on Enzo Maresca being the first manager to be sacked in the PL.

Ken Bates was a nasty chairman so it goes back a long way with that horrible club. He even banned former players from visiting.

I think Bates withdrew their complimentary tickets, but he wasn't a nice man. Chelsea are now comfortably the most disliked club in the PL IMO so it would be nice to see them have another poor season. Thanks for Omari, though!

Agree. Their turnaround in form in second half of last season, when they were actually very good, coincided with Trev returning to the line-up among other things. He's easily a top six player, has proved that over a number of seasons now.

He's good but not top 4 standard IMO and seems an odd signing for United who need who rebuild to challenge for the title.

Tbf he was a mainstay of Tuchel's side that was curtailed by sanctions and finished 3rd in 21/22 and also played 2 x Cup finals vs. Liverpool. The whole club let alone the players have lost their way since then, not just Trev alone. [Post edited 13 Aug 2024 15:52]

Currently Man U aren’t top 4 standard and not too many players of that standard will move there until they are in the Champions League. To get there, they need to sign players like him to progress from finishing eighth (think it was eighth). Just my take of their situation.
