I thought he was pretty composed and better defensively than Clarke. However, we missed Clarke’s overlapping runs and superior delivery, so two very different options. Plus it’s likely Johnson starts at RB anyway. | | | |

Once he is through the door I would imagine he backs up both Morsy and Phillips (also meaning both can be rested in match at times). Luongo and Taylor would be very much back-up options/squad cover. You think how much we chased Taylor not that long ago. He is going to have work very hard to get into the first choice eleven, I reckon. |  |

Then you're removing all the players who played last 2 seasons. They absolutely deserve to play against top sides in this division. We may be surprised. If KM can instill some confidence and we don't let our heads drop when it goes wrong in the first 15, as was often the case, then it'll be more fun than getting a load of new players in. | |

Not all of the players, but it depends what the ambition is, personally, I want European football back, I want us beating Liverpool at Anfield again. I know its greedy, but I've seen it before, and I want to see it again. | |
