Listening on the radio and in the second half they have said Liverpool missed very good chances to score on at least 3 occasions.
Sounds like there was little in it in the first half but we need to get the likes of Szmodics, Phillips and Cajuste up to speed and bedded in. |  |

Exactly. They seemed to be suffering from short-term memory loss, having forgotten their own words at h-t that we were the only ones to have had any shots on target in that first half! (3 iirc). [Post edited 17 Aug 2024 14:41]

Jota missed from 4 yards out before he did score and the radio sounded like they had other good chances they wasted (Diaz repeatedly I think). I don't think anyone can question that Liverpool had a very comfortable win by the end. | |
