I assume we would want to write into the contract if any of the issues picked up during medical stop him playing any matches then we so not have to buy him. But if he does well and then he gets injured it could be really disruptive to our season so probably best to avoid unless it really is a free hit optional extra. | |

It will all be a balance of how much we want him, how much Chelsea want to ensure he is off their books, and how much he wants to come here. Somewhere in amongst all that mix there was a hope common ground could be found but since the medical that hope has not materialised. Clearly at least one of the 3 parties involved is not keen enough to satisfy one of the others. | |

I’d look elsewhere for a Norwegian Blue. Maybe Norway …..or the pet shop.
Broja apparently did nothing on loan at Fulham last year following his injury. I see no reason to take such a big risk on him. Especially if there is any truth in what’s been said about the deal. We could wind up hosing £30m up the wall on a player that can’t play.
There must be alternative loan options out there if we really do need another striker. |  | | |
