They haven't applied for planning permission yet (last update suggested an application would be made in August) so I doubt any work will take place this year.
There is still a lot of work happening at Portman Road, the exec boxes are progressing but there is also loads of scaffolding up in different parts in side the stadium, including around the TV box over the tunnel, which structually looks about half way complete.
I suspect all of the work to get PL ready at the ground and not to mention recruitment has meant that timescales may have slipped. | | | |

When he spoke of the training ground, had we been promoted?
I had wondered if we might look for a new training centre all together if we consolidate a prem place. I'm not sure of the size of the current plot but how does that compare with other prem clubs? |  |

Friend of mine whose company has been involved in the stadium work told me they've been spoken to about doing similar at the training ground but only in preliminary terms as I understood it, so sounds a while off. |  | | |

Wouldn't surprise me if they have gone back to the drawing board,
looked pretty uninspiring to my eyes

If I remember rightly there's a 25m pool and masses of space taken up by gym equipment, not like there aren't enough gyms around already.
