I know it's kind of only natural to think in terms of worst case scenarios but what really is there to suggest that we should "expect" Wolves to get 3 wins from that run when they've only got 3 wins all season? I do think we need to come out of the next few games with a cushion on them of some kind (maybe 3 points or so) but I don't see a lot to suggest their form will turn around quickly. Their manager is a proper journeyman whose record is littered with as many failures as successes. I think they've had whatever bounce they are going to have from appointing him and they seem to be regressing to the undisciplined, petulant mess they were when he arrived. |  |

On this date last season they were in 11th place, 13 points above the drop zone. In fairness, 2 seasons ago they did have a strong second half of the season to pull away from danger after appointing Lopetegui, but there have been a lot of changes to players and management since then.
I really don't understand this determination amongst our support to talk up our rivals, when all evidence suggests that they aren't very good at all. Wolves have just lost 4 on the spin, scoring one in the process, and seemingly have all sorts of issues with some of their better players. [Post edited 26 Jan 14:01]

There were definitely times when Leeds looked uncatchable last season but people were definitely claiming Southampton were about to catch us despite being miles behind. | |

Why are you acting like we haven't got to play basically all the same teams still? It's not like there are 5 games left, there is nearly half a season. We've still got to play all of the teams in the current bottom 10 twice, as have Wolves. Wolves still need to play Liverpool and City again (both away) - we don't. | | | |
