Irresponsible, cowardly, Tory-lite failures.

Gutless apologists for the obscene, unequal, rabid capitalism-driven destruction of nature and of our children's futures.

Arseholes.

I’ve told you my background, what I do, where my opinions are formed. What u do for a living etc. what do you do? How does a man in their 50s with a family have the views you do? I’ve never met someone with such wet views. It’s pathetic.

All you seem to want to do is antagonise people. It’s getting tedious.

I don’t think that’s the case at all. I really think you should look back over the thread at the type of comments made to me by “positivity”. I have no animus to anyone in this thread except him. He comes across as an extremely unpleasant and weak character

Ok, “positivity”. Do you work, my friend? What do you do? Are you a net contributor to society? I just cannot imagine a man in his 50s having the views that you do. What kind of person are you? What do you do? I’m genuinely interested. I’ve never met anyone like you. Are you real!?

i work in the private sector, i pay taxes, volunteer for a couple of charities, previously been through university, worked for the public sector, been to university, centrist dad, football fan, just your average 50 something in modern britain

i've never met anyone who thinks "liz truss had the right idea" or who thinks eton shouldn't be taxed to help pay for the education of the masses or who thinks "starmer is a far left ideologue". who on earth are you (pretending?) to be? are you a victorian who's stumbled across a time machine?

private healthcare. i'm definitely centrist. left wingers like banksy and darth think i'm ridiculously right wing, tories think i'm ridiculously liberal!

you've not answered the questions, just more insults, typical right wing entitled behaviour!

mind you, being called nuts, by a person who who thinks:- "liz truss had the right idea" or who thinks eton shouldn't be taxed to help pay for the education of the masses or who thinks "starmer is a far left ideologue" is maybe to be considered a compliment...

I’m centrist. I’d consider you to be nuttily left wing. Certainly compared to the Everyman I deal with every day in my working life. Perhaps you mix only with privileged medical folks, and don’t get to interact on a daily basis with the working man? It’s all I can think of to explain your complete lack of empathy and distance from those who work hard to try and improve their lot in life. It’s a baffling mindset to me.

this is going from trolling to stalking, your obsession is becoming unhealthy.

reflect on why no-one has backed you up on this thread and the only reaction has been downarrows from people across the political spectrum.

the constant insults are not helping your cause either. no-one has agreed that "liz truss had the right idea" and eton shouldn't be taxed to help pay for the education of the masses and "starmer is a far left ideologue".

go back to your ignorance if you like, maybe an idea to put the rest of the board on ignore while you're at it.

i do look at whether anyone agrees with your bizarre views or attacks as it's always a good idea to check if you're wildly off track. only a sociopath would not care about the views of other humans.

no-one's going to back up those views this century. your time has gone, nighty night!

Your wilful ignorance of the reality of modern political thinking is an embarrassment. You’re circa two decades older than me, contribute significantly less to society and the public purse than me and yet my time is past? You’re embarrassing yourself. You also want to punish children whose parents can no longer afford their school fees because of a venal government policy. It’s sickening stuff, mate.

more ridiculous insults, you're way out of touch with the everyman on here and you have no idea of what i earn and what my contribution to society is, such a weird positions to have.

by your logic you want to punish all children whose parents can't afford to pay massive school fees to benefit the businesses who run the private schools, go back and read the many comments by people shooting down your opinions with real facts. educate yourself, it's free!

Perhaps the sverage poster on here is not the Everyman on the street? You’ve told me what you do. I have little interest in what you “earn” in private healthcare, catering to those that can afford it, but I do know that I have had 20-30 guys working on 2-3 building sites every day for the past 10 years. These are the people I speak to in a daily basis, as well as obviously lenders, surveyors, estate agents and those who wish to buy what we build.
I imagine I encounter a broader cross section r society in a daily basis than you do in the rarefied world iof your private sector healthcare role.
I’ve tried to explain to you that private schools doesn’t equal Eton, which you keep referring to. I can only assume that you feel some residual guilt that you weren’t able to offer a private school education to your children. I see no other explanation for your objectionable views on this subject.

ridiculous, you mix with "the guys" and a bunch of people in finance. try talking to some women and regular people who aren't builders!

private healthcare isn't all about bupa, privatization means that private companies run numerous free at the point of contact health services. if you chatted to any real people or had any knowledge of the state of 21st century britain, you'd know that!

we were able to offer a private school education, we chose not to and use the money better. our kids have thrived in the state sector and at very good unis. the only person i knew who sent their kid to a private chool relented after a year, the lad is now top of his year at cambridge, so the state sector isn't as awful as you've been led to believe.

why would you deny millions of pounds in tax receipts to the millions of deserving children born without your silver spoon? they're far more deserving than the businesses who run eton and whatever your "alma mater" was

How did you use the money “better”? What could be better than helping your children? So much guilt. Clothes, holidays, nice cars? I know where our money is better spent, and it’s on our children, and giving them the best opportunities we can, which contrary to your prejudices does not mean Eton, but rather a broad width of opportunity with sport, arts, music, drama etc.

my kids have not lacked for opportunities and i doubt yours will if you bite the bullet. let them mix with the normal people you seem so keen to denigrate and deny the eton (and westminster/gordonstoun/whichever school is exploiting you) millions .

Not a fan then!? Me neither… but rather because they are far left ideologues dragging the whole country down with them… And at the moment they are far left ideologues who realise their ideas are terrible. Taxing education and and increasing employers’ tax burden was never going to be sound policy. The issue the country has is that they are dour and joyless left wing pessimists with no principles, and no idea. Sooner we get a sensible centre right government in place, the better. The fear now, of course, is that this lot have soured the country’s mood so much that we are heading for a far right win at next election. Voting Labour is rarely a good idea
