No no no. Farage is all over it. Although clearly he's only interested in the headline because it suits his agenda. [Post edited 10 Feb 17:28]

It sounds like the son is potentially awaiting a diagnosis, looking at the issues he has it wouldn't surprise me if he got a diagnosis either. The son is also 10 and was born in the UK so this would be a case of punishing the child for the crimes of the father. I can understand why some might defend that but whichever side of the fence you're on, it's a lot more nuanced than the deportation being blocked because of chicken nuggets.

Nick Ferrari was all over this on his show this morning, unsurprisingly.

Never one to dwell on substance rather than the attention grabbing headline, either, was he?

I'm sure there may be more to it but I can't see anything about it in the report. What exactly is the extra info and where can one find it?

But an immigration tribunal ruled it would be “unduly harsh” for his 10-year-old son, known as ‘C’ in court documents, to return to Albania with his father owing to food sensitivities, sensory issues and difficulties communicating emotions. The court heard while the young boy had no formal diagnosis, education plans were in place to support his “emotional regulation, independence; reading and writing”. As Herb says, there is likely to be a diagnosis sooner rather than later.

Probably be better if the young lad was adopted and his father booted out.

While I doubt that that's a serious suggestion, I recently had sight of a local authority document which gave baseline expectation of educational and social outcomes for cared for kiddies. Thoroughly depressing read, for a supposedly civilised society.

I wish it could be a serious suggestion to be honest, and if the child had an adults brain he would opt for that scenario as well if he had any sense. [Post edited 10 Feb 21:09]

Oh man all this talk of chicken nuggets I could do with some of those for breakfast. How do they make them then are they all the bits nobody else wanted mashed together or something? My mate a butcher once told me at a wake as I was rattling sausage rolls into myself, that they were made of earholes and arseholes,I still carried on launching them in mind.

Surely this is a joke. on 08:44 - Feb 11 with 939 views | lowhouseblue | a sole example not coming anywhere near the level of harshness for a reasonable judge to find it unduly seems entirely right. it's surprising the first judge would decide on the basis of so little.
| And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show |

why the down arrow herbivore, i've literally only repeated what the upper tribunal judge said when he referred the appeal back to a new judge. bit weird even for you. [Post edited 11 Feb 8:52]
