If McKenna had gone to Brighton - do you think we'd have had... on 12:59 - Feb 27 by NeedhamChris
I thought Phil had been explicit that accusing people of being Norwich fans wasn't welcome on here.
More bullying from you.
I'm allowed an unpopular opinion.

Phil can ban me if I've been OTT. For the record, I've never been banned. If you think suggesting picking someone up in Norwich is bullying you must be a bigger snowflake than I thought.
Your opinion was that McKenna should've been sacked when we were in League 1. That's not just an unpopular opinion, it's possibly the most spectacularly wrong opinion ever posted on TWTD.
The fact that you, of all people, are still here criticising him is quite frankly astonishing. Most people would have slunk away into the shadows after such a howler.
Trust the process. Trust Phil.

As someone who has been upset by people mocking you about sausage and mash - your first paragraph is rather ironic. I'll let you define what offends you, and maybe you allow me and others the same courtesy.
Your posting history is full of you replying to people in a rude, sanctimonious know-it-all way - I might be wrong about a lot of things and as I've said umpteen times before - I was clearly very wrong about McKenna in L1. That doesn't mean I don't get to expect a bit of decency.
However, you come across as a deeply unpleasant individual - even in posts where I agree with you there's a nastiness/condescension that comes through loud and clear.

I mean this with all due respect, but I hope you’re examining your own posting style under the same microscope under which you’re examining other people’s. You come off just as abrasively as those you’re accusing for someone so against rudeness, yet your own signature appears specifically designed to bait another poster, but as soon as anything comes back on you it’s apparently bullying and toxic masculinity. Couple that with the anti-McK nonsense and it’s not difficult to see why people suspect trolling.

I haven't been upset by people mocking me about sausage and mash. In fact it's a long running joke. Is there nothing you don't get wrong?
Funny that you DMd me to discuss things off the board... then when I hit send on my courteous reply it wouldn't go because you'd blocked me. Very odd.
Some may see my posting as deeply unpleasant and nasty, I just like to challenge people who post nonsense, factual inaccuracies and emotional hot takes. And some people, like you, don't like it.
Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Given that's slanderous and/or misrepresentative (and will have been read by others) - would appreciate it if Gav, Mark or Phil could factually confirm (without needing to get drawn in to our disagreement), that I have never once DM'd you in my history on TWTD.
What a strange thing to invent.

I was asked to look at this and indeed, NeedhamChris hasn't sent the message as described. No messages sent.
If you liked my post, please take the time to upvote it. It's very much appreciated.

So with a top 6 managerial budget, you genuinely believe that Kieran McKenna is the only manager we could have hoped to achieve a single point with?
There are extremes at both ends of the spectrum - this to me is mad.
Appreciate my view may also seem mad to others.

I was joking. It's an impossible question. Who knows who we got and who they would have signed. Best to answer these type of questions with a joke is my best policy.

Sorry - didn't clock that.
I do get it's a bit too hypothetical to be useful, at a base level it was more a case of - do you think we could have attracted anyone that could have done better.
We will never know - £6m a year is a lot though and I'm sure someone interesting could have been tempted.
Your approach is probably sensible!

He may be getting you confused with ITFC_Chris, something i've done on a few occasions.

We all approach things differently. No right or wrong about it. Brilliant Gotcha moment earlier.

The biggest problem I have is the lack of experience signed. Would another manager have gone for a few more with experience? Would he have been allowed to? Would they have wanted to come here? Far to many questions without answers.

Apologies, I got the wrong nutter, it was Iblebobble or whatever his name is.

As insincere and classless an apology as you're ever likely to see. Not at all surprising sadly.
If only there was someone around who was committed to challenging nonsense, factual inaccuracies.
I'll dish out class to anyone who deserves class.
As plenty of others have said, your own posting isn't exactly the nicest/friendliest a lot of the time. You've been gunning for me for a long time... largely because I remember and occasionally bring up that you wanted McKenna out in League 1 and you don't like others being reminded of it.
I am usually pretty factual but got slightly muddled on this occasion, probably because I have a fair bit on my plate still being at my parents' since the weekend after the football, juggling a job with supporting mum at home and dad in hospital who is slowly dying of cancer. So forgive me if my accuracy is slightly off.
Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Seeing as we are considering hypotheticals - do we think Brighton would have got more points with McKenna?!
It’s a good question.
My gut feeling is no, but I’m probably subliminally influenced by the fact they’re having another great season and he’s got them 4 pts off a Champions League spot.
Amazing to think though, that they’ve drawn at home with us and Southampton and only got a 2-2 away at Leicester this season.
Funny old game..
