Morsy’s OG 05:03 - Feb 27 with 3206 views | ibbleobble | The question was asked the other day whether we’ve had an “appalling season” or not and the general consensus was we hadn’t. With 3 wins to our name, 1 clean sheet and 1 win in the last 11 it’s pretty grim reading. If we don’t win another game and that run becomes 1 win in 22, which, at present looks likely, what will the verdict be then? We look devoid of ideas. Seem unable to change a game and make the repeated same mistakes. For those criticising others for being negative, why? When our captain fails to get up for a header and scores an OG off the top of his head, facing the wrong way and not goal side properly of his man, it’s surely fair game to raise some questions and point out the obvious and inexplicable frailties. Something about his body shape reminded me of Nsiala’s OG for Bolton! A thing of beauty. I turned it off at that point. The rest looked inevitable from and so it proved. This season is done, we look cooked. Here’s hoping the FA Cup can breathe some life into us but a Monday night trip to a rampant City Ground feels a stretch.

No sane fan wouldn't be.
Just some seem to revel too much in it for my liking. We're all different but I've never understood what being so negative achieves.
We fluffed it tonight but hey, we're in the bloody Prem having a go after feck knows how long. I'd rather tonight than getting done in L1.

Vitor Pereira has Wolves playing some lovely one touch football, they’re toothless but much improved. We’re the opposite so yes, the TV went off to spare watching an inevitable agonising demise and today my mental health feels much improved! 🙂
Morsy’s OG on 07:57 - Feb 27 with 2260 views | The_Flashing_Smile | You have the gall to post about a game you only watched 22 minutes of? I've heard of people leaving early but turning the TV off after 22 minutes when the score is 1-1 must be some kind of record. You're either lying or not an Ipswich Town supporter. Wolves have a squad built over a number of seasons and have experienced premiership players. They have been able to make further additions recently. Town have arrived in the prem with a mix of Lg1 and Championship players and had to try to rebuild a squad in very short time. The step up to the Premiership is getting more difficult every year as we see from one years promoted teams being the next years relegation sides. Yes our team looked flat last night at Old Trafford - I was there soaked, cold and disappointed. On the other hand this season i have been proud of our team - they have overachieved, more than we might reasonably have expected. They have not been good enough but they have given us their all. We can’t demand more. We are probably going down and we will loose one or two players but we should be starting next season with a much stronger squad and can build again from there.

Wolves were bereft of ideas and rudderless under O’Neill; with the same players Pereira has had a very positive impact albeit with a technically talented squad. While your points are true let’s not try and make / find lots of excuses and accept relegation as meekly as we did last time. It was half expected this season which softens the blow but the manner of our performances is becoming alarming and relegation candidates or not, these performances should absolutely be questioned. After all, we lost 1-0 last night to ten men! That for me is a new low after the Southampton defeat and our joint record defeat at PR. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Wolves have been in the PL for years with all the benefits that brings. Realistically there is nobody you can compare us to as Leicester and Southampton have also both been there for years except one season. We're getting back into "Hang your heads in shame territory" with your recent posting. SB [Post edited 27 Feb 9:14]

I made a comment about the lovely football Periera has inspired at Wolves and you've related it to "time in the PL", "Cost of squad" blah blah and then something i have no understanding of about "shame". Your reply is as non-sensical as the need you feel you have to police this forum. Get back on your Brompton mate.

Fair. I do seem to attract the same characters each time. Gav edit. No need for for your mental health comments. Pretty poor.
