| If we manage to do the impossible 15:40 - Mar 8 with 2730 views | tonybied | Please can we keep Enciso? He is everything we need, he knows where the net is, he nips at defenders heels constantly, and he has some lovely touches to create space. We,re a much better team going forward with him in it. | | | | |
| If we manage to do the impossible on 15:43 - Mar 8 with 2681 views | Nthsuffolkblue | It is certain that should we manage to stay up, we will be building on what we have (unless recruitment goes badly wrong). Cajuste, Enciso and possibly Phillips would likely be part of that. | |

| If we manage to do the impossible on 15:47 - Mar 8 with 2617 views | TheBoyBlue | Isn't he essentially here to give him minutes after injury? I suspect Brighton will want him back for next season. Would be good if we could though! | |

| If we manage to do the impossible on 15:53 - Mar 8 with 2529 views | ITFCson | Sadly no chance we sign him even if we stay up, best we could hope for is another loan next year but that is unlikely. Shame he missed the last few games with injury, with him in the team doubtful we'd of lost to Man Utd. | | | |

Reminds me a lot of Reuser without us having seen the end product yet.

Unfortunately think staying up has gone BUT if we did I don't think it's impossible at all. If we show intent with signings and he knows he will be playing week in and out I think it would be doable. Brighton will be spending again most likely and looking to bring in some cash.

| If we manage to do the impossible on 10:45 - Mar 9 with 2151 views | Chrisd | What evidence is there to suggest we are staying up? If you can’t win games or score goals consistently, then that’s rather damning. 3 wins in the league all season, 7pts from playing at home not even a goal a game scored (26), a really poor GD and not a win in the league for the last 3 months and 6pts adrift of Wolves. No crumbs for optimism there I’m afraid. 😟 [Post edited 9 Mar 2025 13:43]

Don’t you dare. We just don’t get it, or something like that

No he hasn't come close yet with mostly speculative shots. He whipped in a perfect cross for Greaves' goal against Liverpool though and has the ability to beat players directly in front of him, which sets his apart in our team.

For someone who is a well known diehard and about as loyal following the team as you can get, you do seem very determined not to enjoy this season. I get it, no one wants to see us lose every week but surely in the overall big picture you can try to enjoy the last few games however they go within the wider upward trajectory of the club?

I don't agree with this. I think Texters has tried to enjoy the season and as part of that was hope we'd make a better fist of it. As that's deteriorated, so has the enjoyment. Nearly half the forum thought we'd be mid table or better at the beginning of the season, you wouldn't think it now.

I personally find it hard to enjoy how the season is panning out as KM just isn't trying anything different to try and keep us up. I have my views on how I think this season was viewed and I have my views on where KM is in 3 months time. But that's my own view which I'm not asking anyone to share. But as this season pans out I find it frustrating its the same old same old each week. As a game I enjoyed yesterday. But even then same set up. Same like for like subs. And we came away with no points.

Brighton did say they definitely wanted to keep him, and initially he told them he only wanted to play for Brighton, but IF (a big if!) we do manage to stay up, I wouldn't be surprised if he would like to stay with us, so that he could start a game each week, which he doesn't get to do at Brighton. | If we manage to do the impossible on 15:55 - Mar 9 with 1626 views | Kievthegreat | I like the early signs of him, but I don't think we can possibly say "he knows where the net is" when he hasn't scored a goal yet. Love for him to prove he does know and bag a handful of vital goals to keep us up though!

That was something some of us warned against. The bets on Town finishing top 4/6 were just ridiculous.

| If we manage to do the impossible on 18:53 - Mar 10 with 1165 views | JeremiahBrown | According to this article https://www.sussexexpress.co.u Brighton have too many attacking options, so if we stay up, there could be a possibility we could keep him. | | | |
