There is a big chance that 13:00 - Mar 12 with 3563 viewspetieboy2011

We could be 9 points behind Wolves come Saturday evening.

Whilst we are at home to 3rd place Nottingham Forest, Wolves are away at bottom of the table Southampton.

A 6 point gap is quite hard to overcome - especially when we've only won 3 games all season, but a 9 point gap would surely be too much.

Lets hope this isn't the case though eh and we end up only 3 points behind Wolves come Saturday night!

Regardless of anything else, we need to win matches and currently not seeing signs of the type of run we'd need to go on.

We could easily be closer to Southampton on Saturday evening than Wolves.

Leicester at home to Man Utd doesn't fill me with confidence either - RVN will be well up for that.

There’s no problem with people holding onto hope of course, but we’re getting to the point where it’s the same sort of hope you have for winning the lottery. I certainly wouldn’t put money on us staying up.

I have made peace with us going down, I think its best to rather than stress out about what is becoming an impossible task, in a few weeks' time, this will be done and dusted anyway. We need to think about next season in the Championship.

"Odds on" to be 7+ points before we play them surely; my prediction would be 9 or 10, if allowed to cover two positions.

Like many I made peace with relegation some time ago: one disappointing leg in what's been a superb journey so far. Would take quickfire huge wins to challenge that mindset obviously and I'm always open to miracles!

As much as I'm desperate to see us start winning games, I just can't see us winning a single game of the remaining fixtures, and thay includes, Wolves and Leicester. We just can't take our chances and it's been like this all season. It's not going to change in the remaining 10-11 games. Of course I'd love it, if we did.

We have lost less games than Leicester and the same amount as Wolves. Leicester have won one more game.

I get feeling depressed with how it has gone but there's no reason we don't have a chance of beating Leicester. Same with Wolves, especially if Cunha's ban is increased. If you look at the stats, Cunha having the season of his life and scoring double his xG is pretty much the only thing keeping Wolves out of the relegation zone.

We've already seen us win one home game this season. We should be satisfied with that.

I was there when McKenna's ITFC won in the Premier League at Home. Our only home win in a year.

you say we can't take our chances, so we have no hope of beating leicester?

is this the leicester who have a 0-15 record in their last 5 games?

even "a team who can't take their chances" have scored 5 in that time, so i wouldn't say it's impossible that we'll scrape a 1-0!

I understand what you're saying , and Cunha is the single biggest factor Wolves have to staying up. I hope he gets a lengthy ban but suspect the gods will shine on them again and he gets just one additional match ban on to of the three he's got.

However, We must win our games during the period he's out,to put pressure on them when we play them. One of those games has already been played and despite being equal to Palace, we yet again couldnt get it over the line, and that's what I struggle to see changing, unfortunately. It's up to us to get the points, more than Wolves not get theirs ( if that makes sense). ANY point will be valuable. We seem far less effective at home than we do away. Do we approach away games differently to home games do you think?

Yip, I think we'll finally put that little anonomly to bed rest narwich.

I'm not meaning to put a bleak look on it. I was just extrapolating our efforts over the season to date and asking myself, how can this change in the last 10 games, especially given our ever expanding injury list. What's realistically, likely to happen.

That we don't appear to have it in our locker to beat them, in however many meetings it is, despite being the better team, and that until the last last 20 years?.. records show we had the upper hand in games won. There's now a whole generation of fans that have not witnessed our superiority over them. Norwich fans under 30yrs if age actually believe they are the stronger club, but if you look at the history between the two clubs, (until our administration and the impact its had on the club, (the status quo was always in our favour). So the anomaly is the last 20 years which is almost a blip in the total history between us.

aah, we won't do that this season though!

knowing their luck against us, they'll probably beat us twice and finish 20+ points behind again. (though we may need to finish 40-50 points ahead to get promoted this time!)

Think it's worth taking relegation as a baseline at the point.

That said, bookies have as 1-11 for the drop which implies an 8% chance, which, admittedly is a long shot but isn't the total absence of hope some on here are pitching. If I had a scratch card with 1 in 12 chance of a £120m prize, damn sure I'm not giving up scratching after I've not won in the first 3/4ths of the panels!
