Facebook's algorithms are terrible.
You have to consider every word and how it can be taken out of context. You can type something like Trump appointing Musk as head of Doge triggered mass firings and suddenly you are suspended for violating their community standards for mentioning guns etc. |  |

companies going beyond the law to censor people is appalling. but i'm certain on previous discussions on here i've been told that free speech shouldn't extend to media companies having to host stuff that they didn't approve of - that free speech didn't imply any right to be published. i think i've even been told that media companies acting to cancel people and views wasn't a problem. always thought that was nonsense. |  |

Criticism of a Politician's policies is quite different from eg hate speech directed at a race of people, or somebody posting the new identity and address of the woman who accused Ched Evans of rape.
Free speech is a foundational principle of democracy, but there have to be limits when that speech can encourage or enable acts of violence against people.

I saw that a French man got denied entry to the states cos he had criticism of Trump on his phone.
Not sure why he would have to agree to unlock his phone mind.
